The partition scope encompasses all of the
resources belonging to a single nPartition.
The views in the partition scope are similar to those in the
complex scope, but they are limited to the
selected partition.
Within the partition scope, you can select any of the following views by clicking on
the corresponding tab.
NOTE:
This scope is also used to view available resources. In
that case, only the hardware view, cells view, and I/O view can be selected.
Viewing a Different nPartition.
To view resources belonging to a different nPartition, you can perform any of the
following actions:
Click the complex name in the scope indicator and
select a different nPartition from the complex hardware view.
This enables you to select a different nPartition in the same complex.
Select the
ToolsSwitch Complexes
action and enter details for the remote nPartition you want to manage. For more information,
see User Authentication. This enables you to
select an nPartition in the same complex or a different complex.
If launching Partition Manager from a component in HP Virtual Server Environment (VSE), click
the Go Back
link and select a different nPartition from HP Integrity Essentials Virtualization Manager. For more information, see
Start from HP Virtual Server Environment. This is the recommended way
to change nPartitions in VSE.
