Complex Scope

The complex scope encompasses all of the hardware and software components of the server system, including the nPartitions within the complex.

Within the complex scope, you can select any of the following views by clicking on the corresponding tab.

Hardware View: Display the computing hardware components of the complex.
nPartitions View: Display the nPartitions within the complex.
Power & Cooling View: Display the power and cooling hardware components of the complex.
Cells View: Display the cells (CPU and memory) within the complex.
I/O View: Display the I/O hardware components of the complex.
General View: Display the general properties of the complex.

Viewing a Different Complex. To view components of a different complex, you can perform the following actions:

Select the ToolsSwitch Complexes action and enter details for the remote partitionable complex you want to manage. For more information, see User Authentication.
If launching Partition Manager from a component in HP Virtual Server Environment (VSE), click the Go Back link and select a different complex from HP Integrity Essentials Virtualization Manager. For more information, see Start from HP Virtual Server Environment. This is the recommended way to change complexes in VSE.
